Mason’s is the result of a simple idea that’s been quietly brewing for over 16 years. Owners Marc and Kev have spent decades working across hospitality and retail in Shropshire, learning what makes people want to stay a little longer, eat a little better, and enjoy great food and wine without the fuss. Every role, every venue, and every lesson has led to this moment. We created Mason’s in Shrewsbury to be the kind of place we always wanted to visit: relaxed, welcoming, and built around sharing. It’s a Shrewsbury restaurant where quality matters more than formality, the wine list is carefully chosen without being intimidating, and good food brings people together. Our philosophy is simple: buy well, source locally wherever we can, serve generous grazing boards and small plates made with great ingredients, and create an atmosphere where you can settle in for one glass or the whole evening.
